神戸花嫁道中
伝統文化御披露目行列-神戸花嫁道中は、100年前の神戸を舞台に、時を超えた風情で街を彩る「花嫁行列」を現代に甦らせるプロジェクトです。
黒留袖に身を包んだ参列者たちが「狐の嫁取り」物語に沿って街を進み、まるで絵巻物から抜け出したかのような幻想的な光景を描き出します。伝統の婚礼儀式が現代に蘇る非日常の体験を通じ、日本の伝統美と神戸の多文化が交差する瞬間を共有し、街の歴史と文化を深く感じていただける特別なひとときをお届けします。
The Traditional Culture Parade, “Kobe Hanayome Dochu,” is a project that brings back the charm of Kobe as it was about 100 years ago, reviving the elegance of a “Bridal Procession” to beautifully transform the cityscape today.
Participants dressed in formal black kimono (kurotomesode) gracefully walk through the streets, following the tale of the “Fox’s Wedding,” creating a mesmerizing scene that feels like a traditional Japanese picture scroll brought to life.
This project provides a rare opportunity to experience a traditional wedding ceremony in a contemporary setting, offering an extraordinary moment where Japan’s timeless beauty meets Kobe’s multicultural essence.
It invites participants to deeply connect with the rich history and culture of the city.

ストーリー
この物語は、異国情緒が漂う百年前の神戸を舞台に、一人の娘が狐に騙されて嫁入りしそうになる不思議な体験を描いています。行列の中に潜む異界の気配や、夢と現実が交錯する情景の中で、娘は花婿に化けた狐の正体に気づき、危機一髪で難を逃れます。非日常の中に隠された危機と、それを乗り越えた瞬間に宿る希望を象徴した物語です。
2022年の第1弾「神戸花嫁道中」では、「疫病退散」の願いを込め、非日常の体験を通じて困難を乗り越える力強さを描きました。そして2025年の第2弾では、この物語を通じて、コロナ禍を乗り越えた私たちが新たな未来へと歩み出す希望を表現したいと考えています。過去と未来を繋ぐこの物語が、見た人々にとって新たな始まりの象徴となることを願っています。
Set in Kobe, 100 years ago, a city with an exotic charm, this story depicts the mysterious experience of a young woman who is almost tricked into marrying a fox disguised as a man. As the procession moves forward, with the presence of another world hidden within, and amidst the scenes where dreams and reality blur, the young woman realizes the true identity of the fox masquerading as the groom and narrowly escapes disaster. It is a story that symbolizes the hidden dangers of an extraordinary world and the hope that emerges when overcoming them.
In the first installment of “Kobe Hanayome Dochu” in 2022, the narrative carried the wish for “plague banishment” and depicted the strength to overcome adversity through an extraordinary experience. For the second installment in 2025, we aim to express the hope of stepping into a new future, overcoming the struggles of the pandemic. We hope that this story, which connects the past and the future, will serve as a symbol of a new beginning for all who witness it.

私たちは、伝統文化を「由緒ある文化」や「時代の記憶」としてではなく、現代社会の中で新たな価値を放つ存在として再定義したいと考えています。この理念を具体化するために誕生したのが「伝統文化御披露目行列」です。
多文化が共鳴する街・神戸を舞台に、非日常的な体験を通じて人々の心に深く響く伝統文化の新しい魅力をお届けしたい。私たちが目指すのは、単なる保存や復元ではなく、時代に即した新しい息吹を与えることです。その原動力となるのが「不易流行」の精神です。これは、普遍的な本質を守りながらも、常に時代と共に進化し、新しい価値を創造することを意味します。
このプロジェクトは、伝統文化の美しさを再発見するだけでなく、未来へと受け継いでいくための一歩です。私たちは、この行列が地域社会に新しいインスピレーションを与え、人々の間に新たな共感を生むことを願っています。多くの皆さまと共に、このプロジェクトを通じて伝統文化の持つ可能性を次世代へ繋げていきたいと考えています。
We envision redefining traditional culture, shifting it from being viewed as merely a relic of the past or a memory of bygone eras to a dynamic force that holds significant value in contemporary society. The ‘Traditional Culture Parade’ was born out of this aspiration.
Set against the backdrop of Kobe, a city renowned for its multicultural diversity, we aim to offer a profound and unforgettable experience that will resonate deeply with people, showcasing the timeless allure of traditional culture. Our goal is not merely to preserve or restore these traditions, but to breathe new life into them, making them relevant to the modern age. The guiding principle behind this endeavor is the concept of ‘fui-ryuko,’ which emphasizes the importance of upholding fundamental values while simultaneously adapting to the changing times and creating new value.
This project represents a significant step forward in rediscovering the beauty of traditional culture and ensuring its legacy for future generations. We hope that this parade will inspire our community, foster new connections among people, and pave the way for the next generation to explore the limitless possibilities of traditional culture. We invite everyone to join us in this journey as we work together to preserve and promote the enduring power of tradition.
着物について-About Kimono
黒留袖は、かつて花嫁道具の一つとして嫁入り支度に含まれ、結婚後の晴れの日に着用されることを願って用意されていました。しかし、現代では着用の機会が減少し、多くのご家庭で黒留袖が箪笥の中に眠っていることも少なくありません。
私たちは、こうした大切な着物に再び光を当て、着物を着る機会や自装できる方が増えることを願っています。
そのため、ぜひご自身やご家族（お母様やお祖母様）の黒留袖をお召しになり、このイベントにご参加いただければ幸いです。
The black tomesode, once an essential part of a bride’s trousseau, was prepared with the hope of being worn on special occasions after marriage. However, in modern times, opportunities to wear it have become fewer, and many black tomesodes now lie dormant in people’s closets. We wish to bring attention back to this valuable garment and hope that more people will have the opportunity to wear kimono and learn how to dress themselves. Therefore, we would be honored if you, along with your family members (such as your mother or grandmother), would wear your black tomesodes and participate in this event.

We aim to bring new life to traditional culture in modern society. Kyoto Lantern Workshop – Okukawa Lantern Store
江戸末期から京都で提灯の製造を手がけている奥川提灯店。その代々受け継がれた伝統技法を用い、今回のプロジェクトのために、熟練の職人が一つひとつ丁寧に提灯を手作りしてくださいました。
Established in the late Edo period, the Okukawa Lantern Store has been crafting traditional lanterns in Kyoto for generations. For this project, skilled artisans have meticulously handcrafted each lantern, using time-honored techniques passed down through the years.

京すだれ 久保田美簾堂
Kyoto Sudare – Kubota Bisendou
明治16年創業の久保田簾店が、一つひとつ手作業で仕上げた簾を製作。今回のプロジェクトでは、コロナ禍で特別に作られた簾を用いたフェイスシールドを使用しています。
Founded in 1883, Kubota Bisendou has been crafting traditional Kyoto blinds entirely by hand. For this project, we are using custom-made blinds repurposed as face shields, specially designed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

明治36年創業の呉服商を継ぎ、昭和初期のアンティーク着物を中心に、街着や祝い着のレンタル、デニム素材の着物やベルトで穿く袴などオリジナルアイテムの企画・販売を手掛ける。代々引き継がれるスタイリング・メソッドとコミュニケーション力を組み合わせた着物スタイリングを得意とする。 また、和装を活かした地域文化を活性する企画・演出をし、関西を中心に地域活性ディレクターとしても活動中。
また、「匠 NEW STANDARD」のリーダーとして、次世代を担う職人たちと共に伝統工芸の技術を活かし、新しい生活様式に合ったアイテムや文化の提案を行う。日本の良き文化や家族のつながりを大切にし、技術継承と事業継続に力を注ぎながら、伝統文化の魅力を現代に伝えている。
Carrying on the legacy of a kimono merchant established in 1903, Tokusaburo Miyagawa specializes in styling and coordinating traditional attire with a modern twist. The shop offers a unique range of services, including rentals of antique kimonos from the early Showa period, casual and formal wear, as well as original designs such as denim kimono and hakama adapted for contemporary use. With a combination of generationally inherited styling techniques and exceptional communication skills, Tokusaburo creates tailored kimono styling experiences.
Beyond fashion, he also designs and directs cultural initiatives that incorporate traditional Japanese attire to revitalize local communities. As a regional director for cultural promotion, he plays an active role in the Kansai area, creating projects that connect tradition with modern life.
As the leader of “Takumi New Standard,” he collaborates with emerging artisans to craft innovative items and cultural concepts that align with modern lifestyles while preserving traditional craftsmanship. With a deep respect for Japanese culture and family connections, he is dedicated to passing down techniques and ensuring the sustainability of businesses, all while sharing the beauty of traditional culture with the modern world.
